Who I Am

My name is Cody H., and Sideon-Vibe is the creative world I'm building from the ground up.

I'm not a celebrity, a professional musician, or someone who has everything figured out. I'm just a person trying to rebuild his life, make something meaningful out of the things I've been through, and give the ideas in my head somewhere to go.

I've had my share of highs and lows, good decisions and bad ones, successes and failures. I have a past, and it isn't a particularly clean one. I've spent time in juvenile detention and prison, made decisions I regret, struggled with mental illness from a young age, and at one point went down a road with drugs that nearly cost me my life.

I don't want to hide those things.

But I don't want to glorify them either.

My past is part of my story, but it doesn't have to be the ending.

If I ever share something personal here—whether it's something I'm proud of, something I'm embarrassed by, something painful, or simply something I think is worth telling—I'll try to share it honestly. Not because I think my life is extraordinary, but because I believe there's value in letting people see the person behind the things they're looking at.

That's where Sideon-Vibe comes in.

Where Sideon-Vibe Came From

Sideon-Vibe wasn't an overnight decision, and it wasn't some master plan I've been following for years.

In a strange way, it happened when different parts of my life started colliding.

I've been writing for years. Long before there was a website, an artist name, or AI-generated music, there was a fictional world I started creating when I was around fifteen.

That world eventually became a novel.

The Sideons began as characters in that story—fictional beings living inside a world that I kept expanding, changing, and rebuilding over the years. I never knew exactly where the story would take me, but I kept coming back to it.

Eventually, other ideas came along. Some lasted. Some didn't.

Then AI entered the picture.

At first, I was mostly experimenting. I used AI to create images, develop ideas, write quotes, and explore projects that I would eventually lose interest in, as I had done with plenty of other projects before them.

Then one experiment led to another.

There were hats.

Then character images from my novel.

Then I started using ChatGPT more seriously, and something unexpected happened: the AI wasn't just helping me generate things. It was helping me explore ideas I had been carrying around for years.

It became interested in the novel.

It started helping me organize the world, develop characters, work through scenes, and look at the story from angles I hadn't considered.

That's when the work really began.

The novel is still one of my biggest creative goals, and I intend to eventually bring it here as I work through the editing process.

But the rabbit hole didn't stop there.

Then Came the Music

While experimenting with some of my old writing, I discovered Suno.

I originally had a completely different idea in mind.

Years ago, I had written lyrics for a song for my fiancée. I wanted to turn those lyrics into a finished song, and honestly, I assumed I'd eventually have to sing it myself.

Then I discovered that AI could actually sing the lyrics.

I had absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into.

Suddenly, I had another way to express the things I had been writing about for years.

And with ChatGPT helping me develop ideas, I was basically a kid who had just been handed a new creative toy.

One song became another.

Then another.

And eventually, music became a major part of the Sideon-Vibe project.

But music isn't really where my creative life started.

Writing was.

A Writer Who Doesn't Always Spell Very Well

I'm primarily a writer.

I'm just an unpublished one.

I've been writing for years and have accumulated notebooks, lyrics, poems, stories, ideas, fragments, characters, and unfinished projects. Some of that material is old. Some of it is rough. Some of it may never see the light of day.

But some of it deserves another chance.

Spelling has always been one of my weaknesses. I've never been particularly good at it, and for a long time that made me hesitant to share my writing.

It never stopped me from writing, though.

It just made me less confident about letting other people read what I wrote.

AI has changed that part of the process for me.

It doesn't replace the ideas. It gives me tools to work with them.

I know what I can do, and I know what I can't.

Singing is another one of those limitations.

I sing to my fiancée all the time—but that's different. That's her problem. 😂

I'm not afraid to sing, but if I'm being completely honest, I'd rather not put my singing voice in front of the entire world.

And if you ask me to hit a high note, don't hold your breath.

It's not impossible.

I can technically do it.

But trust me...

You don't want to hear it.

I'll make both our ears bleed. 😅😂

That doesn't mean I don't love writing music.

It just means I've learned to work with the tools I have.

Why This Website Exists

I have an overactive imagination.

My brain is constantly coming up with something—a story, a character, a song, an image, a business idea, a scene, a question, or some completely random thought that refuses to leave me alone until I do something with it.

Sideon-Vibe gives those ideas somewhere to go.

This website is part music archive, part creative playground, part journal, and part record of the things I'm building along the way.

Some of what you'll find here will be polished.

Some of it won't be.

Some things will be brand new, while others may have been sitting in an old notebook or suitcase for years.

Some projects may become something bigger.

Others may simply be experiments that taught me something and led me somewhere else.

That's okay.

I'm not trying to create a fictional version of my life or present myself as something I'm not.

At the end of the day, I'm still Cody.

I'm a 33-year-old bald guy with a complicated past, a lot of unfinished ideas, and plenty of things left to figure out. I'm rebuilding my life from the ground up, trying to become a better man, build a better future for myself and the people I love, and make sure my creative ambitions never become more important than the people and responsibilities that actually matter.

I don't know exactly where all of this is going to lead.

I do know that I want to finish at least one of my novels.

I want to keep creating.

I want to keep learning.

And I want to see what happens when I give myself permission to actually finish some of the things I've spent years imagining.

So What Is Sideon-Vibe?

Sideon-Vibe is the meeting point between all of those things.

The old writing.

The unfinished stories.

The fictional world I've been building since I was fifteen.

The music.

The artwork.

The experiments.

The mistakes.

The lessons.

The ideas that worked.

The ideas that didn't.

And the person I'm becoming while I figure out what comes next.

The Sideon represents the storytelling, imagination, characters, and fictional world that have been part of my creative life for years.

The Vibe represents the music, emotion, atmosphere, and energy that grew out of everything that came afterward.

Together, they became Sideon-Vibe.

This isn't meant to be a perfect representation of my life.

It's a record of the things I'm creating while I'm living it.

A journal.

A workshop.

A playground for my imagination.

A place where old ideas can get another chance and new ideas can become something real.

And maybe, somewhere along the way, I'll discover that one of those ideas becomes something much bigger than I ever expected.

For now, I'm just going to keep building.
