Welcome to the Sideon-Vibe content archive.

As Sideon-Vibe continues to grow, this is where you'll find some of the things that don't fit neatly into the music, stories, or other sections of the site. Photo albums, creative projects, behind-the-scenes moments, pieces from my personal archives, conversations, experiments, and other things I decide are worth sharing will eventually find their way here.

Some of it will be polished.

Some of it probably won't be.

That's part of the point.

Sideon-Vibe isn't being built all at once. It's being built one idea, one project, and sometimes one rabbit hole at a time.

From an Idea to Something You Can Wear

This collection showcases some of the original hat patch, T-shirt, and sticker designs created for Sideon-Vibe.

These designs started as ideas, phrases, images, and concepts that I wanted to turn into something physical—something you could put on a hat, wear on a shirt, or slap on a sticker. AI became one of the creative tools I used to help bring those ideas to life.

One of the most useful things I discovered was that getting a good result isn't simply about asking an AI to "make me a hat patch." The more specifically you describe the finished product, shape, artwork, lettering, materials, and intended use, the better the results can become.

Want to Experiment With AI Design Yourself?

If you want to create an iron-on hat patch concept with ChatGPT, start by describing exactly what you're trying to make.

A prompt similar to this is a good starting point:

"Design a professional iron-on hat patch featuring [YOUR IDEA]. Create it as a clean, bold patch design with a strong outer border, simplified artwork, clear readable lettering, limited colors, high contrast, and a composition suitable for embroidery or heat-transfer production. Make the design look like a real physical hat patch, not a flat digital illustration. Keep important details clean and recognizable at small size."

Then replace [YOUR IDEA] with your own concept.

For example, instead of simply saying "make me a cool hat patch," you could say:

"Design a professional iron-on hat patch featuring a smoking skull wearing sunglasses, with the words 'AFTER HOURS' across the top..."

The more information you provide about the subject, wording, shape, style, audience, and intended product, the more control you have over the result.

That's essentially how I approached many of the designs in this collection: the idea came first, AI helped visualize it, and I directed the creative process toward the finished concept.

AI is a tool. The creativity comes from knowing what you want to create and knowing how to communicate that idea.

Please experiment, create your own ideas, and have fun with it—but don't copy the designs shown here.

A Few Places, A Lot of Stories

These photos are just a small glimpse into the places I’ve worked and the things I’ve done over the years. They include jobs in construction, plumbing, trucking, warehouse work, tree work, and plenty of other jobs that taught me something along the way.

Some of these pictures show me riding in the back of a work truck on the way to the job because there wasn’t enough room in the cab. I was the youngest one there, so I drew the short straw. Others show me underneath houses running gas lines, working around huge cargo ships and 2,000-pound rolls of paper in Panama City, Florida, or repairing tractor trailers—replacing floorboards, patching roofs, and installing doors.

There are also a few pictures from the time I was self-employed as a subcontractor for a bank. One of the bigger jobs involved taking down a 73-foot tree that stood only 41 feet from a house. I had to free-climb the tree, cut the top out piece by piece, and then work my way back down the rope while removing the rest. It was one of those jobs where you definitely knew you were taking a risk.

And, of course, no collection of my working years would be complete without a few of the cuts, scrapes, bruises, and other little reminders that sometimes come with working with your hands. 😂

These aren't anywhere close to all the photos I've collected over the years. They're just a small sample—I don't want to turn this page into an entire photo archive. I'll add more from time to time as I dig through the old pictures and find ones worth sharing.

Every picture has a story behind it. These are just a few of mine.

My different hobbies

This photo album contains pictures of different hobbies that I like to fool around with. They range from Photography With different filters and homemade lenses, or simply catching critters just to snap some photos before I let them go right where i found them. To things like drawing tattooing and building furniture out of recycled material. I did not draw the picture of the two-headed wolf drawing or the serpent wrapped around the tree drawing but I did get them both tattooed on my body so I include them.

The Characters of the Sideon Universe

very story begins with a world, but it is the characters who make that world come alive.

The Sideon books are filled with humans, Sideons, warriors, nobles, outcasts, rebels, and people caught somewhere between them. Each character carries their own history, personality, strengths, weaknesses, and reasons for becoming who they are.

The Sideons themselves are more than creatures—they are a part of a world shaped by science, survival, power, prejudice, loyalty, friendship, and choices. Some characters will become heroes. Some will become enemies. Some may surprise you by becoming both.

This gallery is a look at the characters who make up that world.

Some of these images represent how I envision the characters as I write them. Others may evolve as the story develops. A character's appearance can change, but the person underneath—their personality, history, relationships, and role in the story—is what truly defines them.

As the books continue to develop, so will this gallery.

The suitcase is an old creative writing archive of mine, and on the BBQ grill is poems and other writings that were so dark in nature I thought it was best that no one could read them. They were written in Dark Times... For privacy purposes I had chatGPT blur all the text in the photos.

Just a little jumping spider!

Yea, its just a spider, so what? I felt it was interesting enough to share...

One day I found this little jumping spider crawling on my window. after inspection, I decided that its fangs were so pretty that I wanted to take a photo, but all I had was my phone and it would not zoom and focus well enough to get a clear picture. the spider was just to small. So I got creative. To get these images I ended up hot-gluing one side of a pair of binoculars to the back of my phone centered over the camera. the pictures came out pretty good, but once I was done, the glue did not want to come off the phone without a fight... I regret nothing!
